Terms and Conditions for Unload

Welcome to Unload. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Unload mobile application ("App"), which is exclusive to iOS and operated from Germany. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Medical Disclaimer
Unload is NOT a medical provider.* The App provides educational content and community support for porn addiction recovery. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or professional therapy.
Always seek the advice of a physician or qualified mental health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or addiction.
Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read on Unload. If you are in a crisis, contact your local emergency services immediately.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Unload.
Account Security: Registration is available via Email, Google, or Apple ID (powered by Supabase). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms or engage in behavior harmful to the community.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Model: Unload is a freemium app. Enhanced features are available via a "Pro" subscription for $4.99 per month.
Billing: All transactions are handled by the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple’s payment and billing terms.
Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to Apple Support. Unload does not process refunds directly.
4. User Content & Conduct
Ownership: You retain ownership of the posts and comments you create.
License: You grant Unload a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content to provide the App's services.
Prohibited Content: You may not post content that is:
Pornographic or sexually explicit.
Harassing, hateful, or threatening.
Illegal under German or international law.
5. Technical Service Providers
Unload utilizes industry-standard third-party providers to function:
Supabase: For database management and authentication.
PostHog: For product analytics to improve the user experience.
Expo/React Native: As the development framework. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data will be processed through these services.
6. Limitation of Liability
"As-Is" Service: The App is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be 100% error-free or that the servers will never go down.
Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by German law, Timo Hünnebeck shall not be liable for any indirect damages or loss of data resulting from the use of the App.
